2013 Auld Enemies Cup

Next year’s challenge between England and Scotland, for the Auld Enemies Cup, will take place at The Kinross Golf Club, Beeches Park, Kinross, Scotland. The date set for the competition is Thursday 13th June to Sunday 16th June 2013, with a practise round on the Thursday. Keep checking the website for further details.

British Disabled Masters – 10th July 2012

The inaugural OPEN MASTERS, playing for the Craig Waugh Memorial Trophy, was held at Dunston Hall on Tuesday 10th July 2012.

This prestigious event will be played for annually at Craig’s home club at Dunston Hall. Craig died in a car accident in 2006 aged 19 years, he was a very talented golfer, played for Norfolk and was a member of the England under 21 squad. Read More….

VICE PRESIDENT CUP

The Vice President’s Cup for the Disabled Golf Society returned to Sand Martins Golf Club on Monday 18th June 2012. The course was superb, the weather was fine! The Vice President of DGS and Sand Martins member, Stan Bembenek donated a trophy which will be played for annually. Read More…

DGS North East, Bedlington Golf Club – 6th July 2012

Four members in the NE attended Bedlington GC, near Newcastle, on Fri 6th July. Despite the heavy downpour earlier, the course and the greens in particular were in absolutely superb condition.
