Disabled Golf Society Test Net60Six’s Range Game, 6060 Golf

On Thursday 14th June Disabled Golf North, was part of the testing of Net60Six’s Range Game 6060 Golf, at Acanthus Golf Centre near Wakefield. The idea of the day was to play the game, using the ipads provided, to make sure that everything was working correctly by testing the registering process. The various types of games on show, that could be played, were exciting and challenging to say the least. The night was a success has we had players with various abilities, playing in the same team and against each other, making the whole event a pleasurable experience. In the end we had a play off to which Darren Grey from Darlington won.

Darren a one arm British Champion had this to say about 6060 Golf “Would like to say a big thank you for the great day out at the launch of 6060 golf yesterday. I thought 6060 golf was a great game which puts you in the mind set of being on a golf course. It makes you think your way around the course set and shows your overall scoring after your game which just makes you want to improve it time and time again. 6060 golf gives you accurate read out stats information when you finish your game letting you know your weaknesses so you can improve on each shot hit. I think this game is brilliant for all golfers especially young starting golfers and disabled golfers because it gives every player a chance to play golf and improve their game without even setting foot on a golf course. The great thing about 6060 golf is you only need to do is get some golf clubs go to a local driving range to play just log in to the iPod or iPhone setup the game and play each target shot by shot with only 1 chance just like a golf course. I can see this game being a must have for all golf ranges as it gives you the chance to play all year round on your own, with friends and also competitively in leagues and tournaments. I for 1 think this game is brilliant and I would recommend it to all I meet to try. Brilliant people, brilliant game and brilliant idea I’ll be back again to play soon and hope my local ranges take up the great opportunity of having this game so I can play this game more”.

Thank you to Mark Hughes of Net60Six for their generosity for making it a great evening for everyone. It is a game that will benefit Disabled Golfers throughout the UK in the future.
