About Slayley Hall
The Hunting Course
A Dave Thomas designed par 72, 7000 yard, course with lush sweeping fairways, rolling moorland, streams and lakes, towering trees and banks of rhododendrons – this course will catch out the unwary. Well placed bunkers and tricky greens make this USGA standard course a real challenge. The Hunting Course is a treasure of a golf course, magnificently maintained and has hosts several flagship events including the 2009 PGA Seniors Championship.
The Priestman Course
The Priestman was designed by Neil Coles, chairman of the PGA, and it opened in 1999. On the west side of the estate, with panoramic views of the Tyne Valley, this beautifully maintained the course has matured magnificently and hosts European Tour events. Wind can be a factor on this 7000 yard undulating course, criss crossed by streams. But don’t be put off, this is a classic course and suitable for all levels of golfer.
